Many treatments come with minimal downtime, but you may experience temporary redness, swelling, or bruising, depending on the procedure. These side effects are typically mild and resolve quickly.
To help minimize bruising, it is best to avoid blood-thinning products such as Advil, ibuprofen, aspirin, alcohol, fish oils, omega 3/6/9 supplements, vitamin E, garlic, ginger, turmeric, and green tea for at least 3 to 4 days prior to your treatment—only if it is safe to do so. Please do not stop any prescribed medications unless directed by your doctor.
This recommendation is to help reduce the potential for bruising that may occur with certain aesthetic treatments. For more detailed instructions specific to your treatment, please refer to the pre-treatment information sheet provided by our team.
While we love families, we recommend making alternate childcare arrangements during your visit. Our goal is to provide a relaxing environment for all clients, and children may find it difficult to stay entertained during appointments.
